As somebody who likes to help people, I began my counselling training in 2010 after deciding I would like to help in a professional capacity. As a human being and living life, I know what it feels like at times to struggle with difficult feelings and the challenges that come our way from time to time.
Throughout my counselling journey, I have worked voluntarily at Enfield Carers, providing support for people who have found themselves in a caring role, supporting loved ones or friends with Dementia and Alzheimers, as well as emotional and physical related problems.
My main focus of work is in areas of anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement and I believe that there is always a way through to manage life’s troubles and there is always hope.
